Lead QA Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the development of advanced test automation frameworks, the full-time remote Lead QA Engineer will drive AI integration into the QA process, oversee UI visual regression testing, and enhance DORA metrics while mentoring the QA team through technical leadership and collaboration.
Key responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day Scrum activities and manage small to mid-sized engineering/QA projects
- Integrate AI and Generative AI tools into the QA process to enhance testing efficiency
- Architect and implement UI visual regression testing capabilities to ensure application quality
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software QA Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 6+ years of software development or SDET experience with a strong focus on automation
- Strong proficiency in TypeScript for test automation and framework development
- Experience with UI visual regression testing frameworks integrated into CI/CD pipelines
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI tools applied to software engineering or QA workflows
