Lead QA Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Lead QA Engineer, the full-time remote position will focus on designing and executing comprehensive test plans, managing defect tracking, and ensuring high-quality software delivery while utilizing automated testing frameworks, particularly Cypress, in AWS environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and execute detailed test plans and test cases for functional, performance, and security testing
- Design, develop, and maintain automated end-to-end test suites using Cypress
- Integrate automated test scripts into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing and deployment
Required Qualifications
- B.S. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2 years in a Senior or Lead capacity
- Strong proficiency with Cypress for automated testing, with additional experience in Selenium or Appium preferred
- Proven experience testing applications deployed in AWS environments
- Deep understanding of Azure DevOps for test management and pipeline integration
