Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the evolution of AI-first quality engineering practices, the full-time remote Lead Quality Engineer will manage automation, validation strategies, and scalable testing frameworks while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance product reliability and delivery quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop AI-first quality engineering practices across product and platform teams
• Drive shift-left engineering practices, including automation and continuous quality feedback
• Build and maintain scalable automated testing frameworks using Playwright across UI and API layers

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering and quality engineering background with leadership experience
• Hands-on experience with Playwright and modern automated testing practices
• Experience building and scaling quality engineering processes in fast-moving product organizations
• Strong understanding of shift-left testing and engineering quality metrics
• Experience leading quality engineering teams in SaaS or cloud-native environments
