Lead Quality Engineer

Job Summary

To own the quality strategy for web applications and internal tools, the remote Lead Quality Engineer will set and implement testing processes using automation and AI-assisted testing, ensuring products are ready for release while enhancing the QA practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute quality strategies for web applications, APIs, and internal tools
• Lead the implementation of automated testing frameworks and processes to improve release speed and defect detection
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering teams to translate requirements into test plans and automated validations

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in QA, Test Automation, or Quality Engineering
• 2+ years of experience building or maintaining automated tests
• Proficiency with tools such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, or Postman
• Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment using Jira and Confluence
• Familiarity with AI-assisted QA tools and low-code/no-code automation platforms
