Job Summary

Serving as a senior individual contributor, the fully remote Lead Reimbursement Analyst will manage complex reimbursement cases, provide guidance and mentorship to Reimbursement Analysts, and ensure operational excellence while collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage moderate to complex reimbursement cases, including insurance benefit investigations and appeals, while resolving escalated issues and documenting activities
  • Act as a subject matter expert for Reimbursement Analysts, supporting onboarding, training, and quality monitoring initiatives
  • Coordinate communication and tasks between clients, internal partners, and stakeholders, preparing necessary reports and documentation
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • Minimum 4 years of recent healthcare experience; 2 years of direct industry experience preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of medical insurance, billing, and coding
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to manage time independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong customer service skills and demonstrated ability to collaborate cross-functionally
