Lead Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Serving as the ultimate technical authority for controls logic and enterprise telemetry, the full-time Lead Reliability Engineer will manage advanced data forensics, optimize Sequence of Operations, and conduct telemetry audits remotely while acting as a strategic bridge between Site Operations and Platform Delivery.

Key responsibilities:

• Extract and synthesize complex Building Management System (BMS) data during high-severity incidents to identify automation failures
• Review engineering designs and issue Engineering Change Orders to correct architectural blindspots prior to site deployment
• Conduct programmatic audits of facility control systems to ensure adherence to standards and mitigate alarm fatigue

Required qualifications:

• 8+ years of operational experience in data centers or a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of critical facility exposure
• Expert-level knowledge of PLC/DDC logic and industrial communication protocols
• Proven analytical ability to reverse-engineer cascading failures in critical infrastructure
• Experience creating standards for data center operations and communicating technical topics to diverse audiences
