Lead Research Scientist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Research Scientist, Foundation Models and Agentic Systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead research on pretraining and post training of language models for healthcare applications
• Build and study agentic systems that can plan and handle multi-step clinical workflows
• Drive research to production, collaborating with product teams and publishing findings in top-tier venues

Required Qualifications:

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience building and evaluating NLP models using deep learning frameworks
• 2+ years of experience with modern NLP/GenAI approaches, including LLMs and SLMs
• Demonstrated experience leading research projects and a solid research background in machine learning
• Experience in reinforcement learning, natural language processing, or agentic systems
