Lead Revenue Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Revenue Recognition Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the revenue-related month-end close for accurate financial reporting
• Review customer contracts to determine correct revenue treatment and provide documentation
• Prepare and reconcile revenue schedules, maintaining precision and supporting SOX audit controls

Required Qualifications

• Strong background in accounting, preferably from Big 4 audit/advisory and US public company experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 framework
• Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines in a remote setting
• Experience with SaaS or consumption-based revenue models is a plus
• Familiarity with NetSuite, Zuora, or Salesforce CPQ is advantageous
