Job Summary

Leading a remote team, the full-time Lead Rigger will own the character rigging pipeline, mentor junior riggers, and collaborate with Animation and Art Direction to establish quality standards and workflows for high-fidelity character performance across platforms.

Key responsibilities
  • Oversee technical quality of character production, including rigging, tools, deformations, and simulations
  • Lead and mentor the rigging team, fostering growth and accountability
  • Design and develop workflows and tooling to enhance iteration speed and quality for riggers and animators
Required qualifications
  • Minimum five years of experience in the game industry with at least two released game projects
  • Experience with Unreal Engine as a Rigger, Technical Animator, or Technical Artist
  • Proven leadership experience in mentoring a rigging or character technical team
  • Expert-level rigging skills in Maya, with mGear experience being a plus
  • Strong pipeline and tools development experience, including proficiency in Python or similar scripting languages
