Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist

Job Summary

To support efficient medical record management, the full-time Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist will process release of information requests, ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations, and provide training and support to team members in a remote work environment during after-hours shifts from Thursday to Monday, 7 AM to 3:30 PM EST.

Key responsibilities:

• Process ROI requests accurately and in a timely manner while adhering to company policies and legal guidelines
• Perform quality checks on released records to ensure confidentiality and correct billing
• Serve as a subject matter expert and provide onboarding and training for new employees

Required qualifications:

• High School Diploma (GED) required; degree preferred
• Minimum 3 years' ROI fulfillment experience with Sharecare HDS or 4 years of external ROI experience
• Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and leadership skills
