Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist

Job Summary

To ensure timely and accurate processing of release of information (ROI) requests, the full-time Lead ROI Medical Records Specialist will work remotely, safeguarding patient privacy while delivering exceptional customer service and mentoring team members.

Key responsibilities

• Process ROI requests accurately and in accordance with established procedures and quality standards
• Validate requests and authorizations for medical record releases, ensuring compliance with company policy and legal guidelines
• Provide onboarding and training for new employees while managing escalations and resolving customer service issues

Required qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum of 3 years' ROI fulfillment experience with Sharecare HDS or 4 years of external ROI experience
• Advanced knowledge of multiple EMR platforms and ROI request types
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and meet task deadlines
