Lead Rust Software Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Lead Rust Software Engineer to work remotely, who will design and build scalable web application systems, mentor team members in Rust best practices, and contribute to new product development while balancing customer features and technical debt.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as a Rust expert, mentoring team members and setting standards for Rust development
• Contribute to the development of complex in-browser applications, ensuring scalability and security
• Architect and implement applications that utilize machine learning techniques for data processing

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in backend programming, with full-stack experience highly desired
• Expertise in Rust and familiarity with Java, TypeScript, JavaScript, and Scala
• Proven experience in code quality ownership through testing
• BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
• Ability to navigate and resolve ambiguity in a high-growth environment
