Lead SDET - Financial Services
Job Summary
Driving quality engineering initiatives in a hybrid work environment, the Lead SDET - Financial Services will lead automation efforts, develop scalable test frameworks, and leverage AI technologies to enhance testing processes for complex financial applications.
Key responsibilities
- Design and execute comprehensive quality engineering strategies for enterprise financial applications, focusing on automation using Java or Python
- Validate data accuracy and integrity through SQL, databases, and ETL pipelines while performing functional and automation testing
- Leverage GenAI and Agentic AI technologies to improve test design, defect analysis, and overall quality engineering productivity
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in software testing activities, particularly within Capital Markets and FinTech
- Hands-on experience with testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, and automation frameworks like Carina or Karate
- Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages, specifically Java or Python
- Experience in SQL and knowledge of PL/SQL, NoSQL databases, and cloud technologies (AWS preferred)
- Familiarity with GenAI and Agentic AI technologies, including RAG solutions and intelligent automation workflows
