Lead Security Architect

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Lead Security Architect, the successful candidate will design enterprise-grade security frameworks, ensuring alignment with Zero Trust Architecture principles while working remotely from Herndon, Virginia.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the design and evaluation of enterprise security architectures in accordance with Zero Trust Architecture principles
• Serve as the primary technical liaison between enterprise architects and systems security engineers to implement security controls
• Provide critical input to the Risk Management Framework process and manage security requirements throughout the acquisition life cycle

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of professional experience in cybersecurity, including 5+ years in security architecture or a senior technical role
• One or more relevant certifications such as CISSP, GSEA, or GDSA
• Deep proficiency in IT architecture frameworks like TOGAF, DoDAF, or FEAF
• Mastery of Zero Trust Architecture principles and comprehensive knowledge of NIST 800-series and RMF
• Ability to translate operational requirements into technical protection needs and communicate effectively with stakeholders
