Lead Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Security Engineer, Detection & Response (Data Platform).

Key Responsibilities

• Own the architecture and evolution of the security data platform, ensuring effective telemetry ingestion and normalization
• Design and implement ETL/ELT pipelines for high-volume security data to support detection and response workflows
• Participate in incident response and drive improvements in logging and detection coverage

Required Qualifications

• 8 - 10+ years of experience in security engineering, detection & response, or data engineering
• Proven experience designing and operating large-scale data pipelines in cloud environments
• Hands-on experience with cloud-native data services, preferably AWS
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL or similar languages
• Experience with incident response, threat detection, and security investigations
