Lead Security Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Lead Security Engineer will contribute to multiple domains including Cloud Security and Application Security, ensuring compliance and enhancing the organization's security posture through code development and cross-functional collaboration.

Key responsibilities

• Review and design robust security standards and monitoring systems
• Maintain and enhance the policy-as-code platform for rapid detection and response
• Manage SOC II audits and ensure compliance with security standards

Required qualifications

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, preferably GCP, and Kubernetes security
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript for building internal tooling
• Experience managing SOC 2 compliance programs end-to-end
• Experience in incident response, including on-call duties and tabletop exercises
• Experience managing vendor risk reviews and responding to security questionnaires
