Lead Security Engineer

Job Summary

To enhance security across endpoint, cloud, and AI-assisted development, the full-time Lead Security Engineer will manage security tooling implementation, oversee cloud security posture, and establish guardrails while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Own endpoint security management, including device compliance and alert triage
• Manage cloud security posture across Microsoft Azure and M365, focusing on identity protection and Zero Trust controls
• Establish security guardrails for AI-assisted development and oversee GitHub and Azure DevOps security practices

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in security engineering or infrastructure/cloud engineering with a significant security focus
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft security tools such as Defender for Endpoint and Intune
• Working knowledge of Azure cloud security, including RBAC and logging/monitoring
• At least one relevant security certification (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CySA+, SC-200, AZ-500)
• Experience with vulnerability management and incident response fundamentals
