Lead Security Engineer - DLP

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Lead Security Engineer - DLP will engineer, maintain, and optimize enterprise DLP and cross-domain security platforms while supporting compliance initiatives in the Federal Government sector.

Key responsibilities

• Engineer and optimize enterprise DLP platforms using Forcepoint and related technologies
• Configure and manage DLP policies for various data states and secure transfer communications
• Troubleshoot complex operational issues and support cloud data protection initiatives

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise cybersecurity engineering and DLP operations
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field; equivalent experience accepted
• Hands-on experience with Forcepoint DLP technologies and secure transfer operations
• Experience with AWS cloud environments and enterprise systems
• Strong understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks like NIST SP 800-53 and FedRAMP
