Lead Senior Vulnerability Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Lead Senior Vulnerability Engineer will engineer, maintain, and optimize enterprise vulnerability management platforms using Tenable tools while ensuring compliance and security across various environments.

Key responsibilities

• Engineering, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise vulnerability and exposure management platforms using Tenable One, Nessus, and Tenable WAS
• Configuring and supporting authenticated and non-authenticated web application scanning, including Selenium-based authentication workflows and SSO integrations
• Troubleshooting complex operational issues in various network and infrastructure settings

Required qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Vulnerability Management, Exposure Management, Cybersecurity Engineering, or Security Operations
• Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• Experience with Tenable One, Nessus, Tenable WAS, and AWS cloud environments
• Strong understanding of Vulnerability & Exposure Management and Cloud-Native Security concepts
• Project management and client delivery skills
