Lead Simulation Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the simulation team, the full-time Lead Simulation Engineer will direct the development of simulation infrastructure and vehicle models while integrating simulation with vehicle software and automated testing tools in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Define the architecture of the GNC and flight software verification simulation environment in collaboration with stakeholders
• Manage day-to-day simulation development, including defining sprint priorities and ensuring timely task completion
• Develop and execute a simulation verification and validation plan to meet milestone delivery requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in architecting and developing real-time simulations of complex systems, including vehicle and subsystem models
• Proven leadership in simulation development and integration with vehicle software in testing environments
• Proficiency in C++ and Python software development
• Experience with simulation verification and validation processes
