Lead Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

Leading a dynamic team in a remote contract role, the Lead Site Reliability Engineer will identify system issues, enhance observability and performance, and drive the implementation of solutions to optimize service reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead projects focused on building and maintaining observability and monitoring for applications, including key performance indicators and alerting
• Drive system validation, testing, and the implementation of new services/tools to enhance reliability and performance
• Conduct post-incident reviews, document findings, and mentor the engineering team on new systems and best practices

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Advanced knowledge and experience in site reliability engineering practices
• Proven ability to lead teams and projects effectively
• Experience with monitoring tools and performance optimization strategies
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) processes
