Lead Site Reliability Engineer
Job Summary
To support the reliability of a cutting-edge Network as a Service platform, the full-time Lead Site Reliability Engineer will manage platform observability, incident management, and automation efforts while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote capacity.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a subject matter expert for network automation platform applications and build a comprehensive observability stack
- Lead incident response and blameless postmortems, ensuring follow-up actions are completed to prevent recurrence
- Automate deployment pipelines and develop tools to reduce operational toil while empowering teams to manage services independently
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in engineering, computer science, or related field
- 8+ years in software development, systems engineering, and/or networking
- 5+ years of related experience required
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong automation and infrastructure-as-code skills, including Terraform, Ansible, and Python
