Lead Snowflake DBA

Job Summary

To support a growing Data Engineering team, the full-time Lead Snowflake DBA will oversee the administration of the Snowflake data warehouse, ensuring optimal performance and security while collaborating with stakeholders to meet data requirements in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the performance, security, and reliability of the Snowflake data warehouse
• Design and implement data management policies to ensure data security and accessibility
• Lead data migration projects and provide technical mentorship to junior team members

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Minimum of 5 years of DBA experience, with at least 2 years focused on Snowflake
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools and techniques
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and their integration with Snowflake
• Expertise in managing Snowflake security, roles, and access policies
