Lead Software Developer

Job Summary

As a remote full-time Lead Software Developer, the successful candidate will serve as a technical leader in the Enterprise Development Capabilities & Services organization, focusing on .NET and Visual Studio, while driving modernization, improving automation, and mentoring peers to enhance developer productivity across the enterprise.

Key responsibilities

• Shape platform strategy and guide modernization efforts while remaining hands-on with critical initiatives supporting tooling and CI/CD
• Collaborate with domain architects, software developers, and security teams to evaluate tooling and influence technical direction
• Mentor peers and promote best practices to enable teams in adopting modern, cloud-based development approaches

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of related work experience in programming and supporting software applications
• Completion of a technical training program and 6 years of related work experience may be considered
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in an Information Technology related field along with 6 years of relevant experience is acceptable
• Experience with Visual Studio, .NET (Framework and .NET Core/8+), and developer ecosystem tooling
• Strong experience with automation-first approaches using scripting and web-based technologies (PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, TypeScript)
