Lead Software Developer

Job Summary

Providing senior development leadership, the full-time Lead Software Developer will build, maintain, and enhance core application components for federal customers in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development of enterprise applications supporting business operations and API-based integration services
• Design application enhancements in response to legislative changes and manage code development activities within Agile sprint cycles
• Collaborate with architects and DevSecOps teams to integrate automated testing and optimize application performance for large-scale transaction processing

Required qualifications:

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a technical leadership role
• Extensive experience in designing and developing high-volume enterprise applications and RESTful APIs
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other relevant programming languages
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• Experience working within Agile development environments and utilizing modern DevSecOps practices
