Lead Software Developer

Job Summary

Collaborating with business partners, the full-time Lead Software Developer will innovate and promote technologies within the Commercial Lines Technology Group, providing technical design support and thought leadership in a remote capacity.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with architects and business teams to experiment and learn about CLTG technologies
• Lead efforts to capture and share best-practice knowledge within the CLTG community
• Provide technical design support for software applications and development initiatives

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 9 years of related work experience in programming and supporting software applications
• Completion of a technical training program and a minimum of 6 years of related work experience, or a Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field with at least 6 years of experience
• Strong full-stack development experience with C#, .NET, JavaScript, Angular, SQL Server, and RESTful APIs
• Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based application deployments in AWS
• Experience creating technology roadmaps and architectural plans
