Job Summary
Driving quality engineering initiatives, the full-time remote Lead Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) will design and implement scalable automation frameworks, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance software quality across multiple product areas.
Key responsibilities
- Design, build, and evolve scalable automation frameworks for various testing types
- Drive the adoption of modern testing practices to improve test execution speed and reliability
- Lead cross-team quality initiatives and mentor Quality Engineers and SDETs
Required qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering with hands-on test automation
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and experience with automation frameworks like Playwright or Selenium
- Strong understanding of software architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and modern development practices
- Experience leveraging AI tools for test generation and automation maintenance
- Proven ability to mentor engineers and influence best practices across teams
