Key Responsibilities

Drive product development by defining priorities, implementing solutions, and testing with users
Continue backend API development using Python and FastAPI, improving modules for drone flightplan generation and interfacing with geospatial file formats
Enhance frontend development of the Drone Tasking Manager web-app using TypeScript, focusing on user experience and community feedback

Required Qualifications

10-15+ years of demonstrated experience in software development across all product aspects
Rich understanding of open data and open source technology environments
Experience with remote sensing products and raster data
Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus
Passionate about technologies for the greater good
