Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop technical solutions that meet user needs regarding functionality, performance, scalability, and reliability
• Provide development leadership on client-facing payments platforms and drive best practices within the department
• Supervise release processes and perform impact analysis of proposed changes on existing architecture and technology solutions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or a High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
• Technical leadership experience for medium to large-sized enterprise projects
• Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Infrastructure, Docker, and OpenShift
• Strong proficiency in design and development of distributed systems, including Node, React, Java/J2EE, and RESTful web services
• Experience with payment technology and knowledge of banking/payments industry standards
