Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to functionally lead a team in designing and developing analytics processing applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-volume data processing applications using Java and Scala
• Mentor junior engineers and lead technical reviews to ensure adherence to software standards
• Collaborate with product managers to solve business problems and implement Agile methodologies

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience
• 6 years of experience in backend development with Java or Scala
• Experience with ETL processes, AWS, and databases
• 1 year of experience in front end development and monitoring with New Relic or Grafana
• Experience using build tools such as Terraform, Cloud Formation, Jenkins, or Github
