Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the design, development, and implementation of applications, ensuring compliance with standards and practices
• Identify gaps in requirements, evaluate risks, and develop strategies to improve system performance and availability
• Support project management by estimating technical costs and defining system requirements in collaboration with clients and stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 8 years of experience in software design and development, software test and evaluation, and requirements management
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure) and database technologies (e.g., SQL, Oracle)
• Experience with programming languages such as JAVA, JavaScript, Angular, React, and Python
• Familiarity with software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
