Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to provide technical leadership on their Fleet Management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and implementation of backend services primarily in Go for fleet deployment and system reliability
• Own the software rollout pipeline, ensuring safe deployments and rollback strategies across a large fleet
• Improve observability and production readiness through monitoring, alerting, and incident learnings

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience building and operating production services in Go or another backend language
• Experience with distributed systems focusing on deployment safety and reliability
• Comfort in Linux environments with strong debugging and performance instincts
• Ability to own systems end-to-end from design to monitoring and iteration
• Clear communicator and strong collaborator capable of leading through influence and mentorship
