Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Specialist/Lead Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Determines the best approach for software implementations and architecture
• Coaches and advocates for good code development principles through mentoring and code review
• Leads sizing/estimating and backlog grooming while managing team capacity and tech debt

Required Qualifications

• Aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving
• Expertise in modern web application/services development and architecture
• Strong backend development experience using Java (Spring Boot) and/or Python
• Deep knowledge of modern backend and frontend development ecosystems
• Bachelors or masters in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or similar field, or equivalent experience
