Key Responsibilities

• Architect and code a next-generation scientific search engine to process complex datasets

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of backend or platform engineering experience with distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with search technologies like Elasticsearch/OpenSearch or vector databases
• Strong understanding of semantic search concepts and hybrid retrieval techniques
• Expert-level coding skills in TypeScript and Python for API and backend service development
• Experience with cloud platforms, microservices, and CI/CD processes
