Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to spearhead their SRE team.

Key Responsibilities

• Set clear goals for the SRE team and align platform initiatives with business objectives
• Lead the definition and enforcement of SLAs, SLIs, and SLOs, and architect observability frameworks
• Take ownership of critical code components, optimize performance, and improve code quality across the engineering department

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of engineering experience, with 5+ years in Ruby on Rails development
• Expertise in Cloud Computing (AWS/GCP) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/Ansible)
• Strong proficiency with SQL databases (PostgreSQL) and ability to navigate complex codebases
• Proven experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
