Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to lead the development of projects in the Loyalty vertical of their Sponsorship division.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of full stack engineers and drive development work across globally distributed software teams
• Provide technical guidance, including architecture and design decisions, and oversee the full development and deployment cycle
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather information and implement strategies for product evolution

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience as a full stack engineer, with at least 2 years in a lead role
• Expert level knowledge of frontend design patterns and experience with React, NextJS, GraphQL, and CSS
• Experience as a backend software engineer, preferably in Java
• Familiarity with AWS or other cloud providers, CI/CD servers, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience working in a distributed systems environment with microservices
