Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer / Tech Lead for their Growth team, working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver protocol-level A/B experiments on signup flows, checkout, plan pricing, and product recommendations
• Ship full-stack features across the acquisition funnel using Rails and React
• Coach and develop the engineering team through regular 1:1s, pair programming, and code reviews

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of 4-8 engineers with a focus on growth experiments in subscription products
• Proficient in Ruby on Rails and React, with the ability to write production code
• Ability to design experiments, select metrics, and explain trade-offs to product managers
• Familiarity with event-sourced systems or similar architectural patterns
• Experience using AI-assisted coding tools in daily workflows
