Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer to guide the technical direction and evolution of its design system.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the strategic vision for the UI design system, including a roadmap for AI-powered design tooling
• Architect scalable and accessible component libraries while ensuring adherence to WCAG standards
• Manage and mentor a team, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration

Required Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, HCI, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 6+ years of experience in frontend/UI engineering with expertise in modern frameworks
• 2+ years of people management experience leading high-performing engineering teams
• Proven track record of building and maintaining enterprise-grade design systems
• Solid architectural skills, including experience with design tokens and accessibility considerations
