Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer, Database System.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain the StarRocks database system to meet performance and reliability standards
• Implement advanced software features and technology enhancements for the SQL engine
• Deliver robust, scalable code that meets the technical requirements of enterprise clients

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in developing commercial or open-source software applications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields is required (Master's or PhD preferred)
• Advanced proficiency in C++ and Java, with experience in performance-critical environments
• Experience with large-scale distributed systems, including transaction management
• Participation in open-source projects or knowledge of big data technologies such as StarRocks or Apache Iceberg
