Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Lead Software Engineer (.NET) in the Edtech sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the modernization of legacy applications to cleaner, more modular architectures
• Design and develop new applications and services using C#, ASP.NET, Angular, and RESTful APIs
• Design SQL Server schemas, write efficient queries, and build reliable integrations

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of software development experience with a focus on senior or lead roles
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET, Angular, RESTful APIs, and SQL Server
• Experience with ASP.NET MVC or .NET Core; familiarity with Classic ASP/VBScript is a plus
• Ability to navigate legacy codebases and utilize AI tooling for development
• Strong ownership and communication skills, with a focus on transforming engineering culture
