Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Software Engineer, responsible for all phases of software development in a remote role, leading technical efforts in design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex systems in Direct Bank technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead team efforts to enhance systems, processes, and applications, including designing test plans and training materials
• Provide technical support for production systems, addressing complex issues and ensuring functionality for end users
• Utilize expertise to mentor associates and participate in special projects, serving as a technical resource for management and teams

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in software application development and maintenance, or
• High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in software application development and maintenance
• In-depth knowledge of System Life Cycle Development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Spring Boot, SQL Scripting, and PowerShell Scripting
• Ability to be on call 24/7 on a rotating basis
