Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Lead Software Engineer, responsible for leading software design and development teams in a full-time, salaried position, focusing on the analysis, design, development, and testing of complex software applications for claims processing.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the design, development, and implementation of software applications, ensuring compliance with standards and practices
• Identify gaps in requirements, evaluate risks, and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and availability
• Support project management by estimating technical costs and collaborating with clients to define system requirements and desired outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science, or 4 additional years of relevant work experience in lieu of a degree
• 8 years of experience in software design, development, and evaluation
• Strong knowledge of healthcare domain, particularly ITS claims processing
• Experience with API/Microservices and database technologies such as Oracle and SQL Server
• Familiarity with cloud technologies and software engineering best practices, including agile methodologies
