Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the development of critical systems, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will architect and implement secure cloud infrastructure, optimize system performance, and evolve CI/CD pipelines to enhance deployment velocity and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and build secure, fault-tolerant cloud infrastructure on public cloud services
• Continuously improve system performance and deploy optimizations for highly-trafficked services
• Lead the evolution of Continuous Integration and Deployment pipelines in a multi-service environment

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in professional software development with a focus on backend systems and cloud platforms
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Go, Python, Typescript, or Ruby
• Deep experience architecting secure solutions on cloud-based infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure)
• Proven experience in automated provisioning using Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Strong hands-on experience with monitoring and logging tools such as DataDog or Prometheus
