Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the future of AI feature development, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will lead the architecture and evolution of the AI platform, design Python-based services, and collaborate with the DevOps team to establish best practices in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and production evolution of the AI platform
• Design and operate Python-based AI services integrated with Ruby on Rails and React
• Define performance benchmarks and ensure AI reliability through testing and observability

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of experience building and evolving production web applications
• Strong backend experience in Python or Ruby on Rails, with modern frontend development in React
• Hands-on experience with AI-driven features in production systems
• Deep understanding of cloud-native systems, particularly GCP and BigQuery
• Proven ability to design for enterprise-scale performance and security
