Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Providing technical leadership in a remote environment, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will develop and maintain software applications, ensuring alignment with business outcomes while managing feature delivery and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Create technical designs and develop software applications based on Agile/DevOps practices
• Manage coding standards and ensure compliance with product acceptance criteria while conducting code reviews
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to prioritize backlog and participate in scrum activities

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience in software engineering
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a lead software engineer in agile scrum teams
• Experience with SQL queries and ETL using RDBMS such as Teradata, MySQL, or PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot, Apache Camel, Go, and Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS platform and building scalable RESTful services
