Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Empowered to influence product development, the full-time Lead Software Engineer will collaborate with a team to design solutions, write quality code, and mentor peers while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Drive development of the Hirevue Interviewing Product Line, analyzing product requirements and writing technical designs
• Write clear, secure, and resilient code while ensuring thorough automated testing and resolving complex system problems
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to design solutions that deliver business value and enhance user experience

Required qualifications

• B.S. in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years in a software engineering role with strong proficiency in languages and technologies such as C#/.NET, Python, and React
• Experience designing and deploying SaaS products in a cloud-based environment, specifically with AWS
• Firm grasp of SQL and database concepts, including CRUD patterns and relational design
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, such as Docker
