Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support the design and implementation of Zip integrations and related backend systems, the remote Lead Software Engineer will manage the development of scalable integration solutions and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance procurement workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and support backend integrations for Zip and related procurement workflows
• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements through automation and systems integration
• Partner with technical and procurement teams to define integration requirements and deliver effective solutions

Required qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in backend engineering and enterprise systems integration
• Proven experience building integrations for procurement or workflow platforms such as Zip, Coupa, or SAP
• Strong understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) and procurement workflows
• Experience with APIs, middleware, and system-to-system integrations
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
