Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the enterprise item syndication platform end-to-end, the full-time remote Lead Software Engineer will provide technical leadership, design and develop APIs and microservices, and partner with stakeholders to deliver robust technical solutions that drive product discovery and revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Define scalable architecture aligned with enterprise and product goals
• Design, develop, and deploy APIs and microservices using .NET/C#, Golang, Node.js, and REST/gRPC
• Champion API-first practices and build event-driven systems for real-time data processing

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 8+ years of software development experience, including 2+ years in a technical leadership role
• Strong experience building scalable APIs and microservices in production environments
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, Golang, Node.js, or similar technologies
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, and hands-on experience with Kafka or other event-driven architectures
