Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Lead Software Engineer, the candidate will design, develop, implement, and test advanced algorithms and software systems for autonomous platforms, providing technical leadership and mentoring while working in a flexible, hybrid environment that allows for remote work when possible.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop software tools and applications for mission planning systems and automated control processes
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship throughout the software and system development lifecycle
• Drive industry best practices in software development, including code review and test coverage

Required qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related technical field with 7+ years of experience
• 5+ years of experience with C++ or Java
• Proven ability to lead and manage engineering teams through the Agile development lifecycle
• Experience in system/software architecture design and implementation of autonomy algorithms
• Ability to obtain a security clearance as a U.S. Citizen
