Lead Software Engineer

Job Summary

To support enterprise-grade procurement and workflow integration solutions, the remote contract Lead Software Engineer will design, develop, and maintain backend integrations while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend integrations for procurement, intake, approval, and purchasing workflows
• Build scalable and secure solutions connecting enterprise applications and workflow management systems
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into robust technical solutions

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering with a focus on backend development and enterprise integrations
• Proven experience in designing and implementing integrations for procurement and finance-related systems
• Strong expertise in REST APIs, web services, and system-to-system integrations
• Experience with event-driven architectures and modern integration patterns
• Solid understanding of procure-to-pay (P2P) and related business processes
